Kayden is a multidisciplinary artist with 7+ years worth of professional photography experience, paired with a fine arts background. Their passion for crafting compelling narratives has led to their work being displayed within several galleries across New York, as well as internationally. Previous clientele includes Elle Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Kenneth Cole, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Ralph Lauren, along with performers Sasha Velour, Lachlan Watson, and Mason Alexander Park.
Kayden is currently based in New York City.

A photographer by trade and a fine artist by choice, Kayden Michael uses light, texture, and color to explore a moment’s significance.
Empathy is deeply ingrained throughout Kayden's work, its focus gravitating towards self-abstraction. Their execution lies within a deliberate choice of details, the sincere display of authenticity being drawn from lived experience. By depicting intimate, immersive imagery, Kayden forces the audience to engage with their desire to reclaim agency.
At its core, Kayden’s work is a tender, curated preservation of feelings otherwise ignored.
Education
Kayden graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2021. They received a BFA in Photography and Related Media, as well as an AAS in Photography and Imaging Sciences, Both are paired with an Art History minor.
